I can't quite believe how fast this week has gone.

Interfaith week began with our visit from Ann Angel. This was enjoyed by all and we talked about what we had learnt in worship this morning. It was great to hear your enjoyment of learning a new language and listening to Jewish stories.

In Numeracy we have explored different coins, and with them we have been finding the total. The Dinosaur café has been a popular theme to introduce taking away as different dinosaurs finished eating their food and left the table to have a snooze. Today we choose take away activities to practise our skills with objects. I am looking forward to seeing you take part in this more next week.

We have thoroughly enjoyed being dinosaurs again this week in PE. We perfected our dances and took time to talk about what we liked about each other's dancing. This showed that we were thinking about moving our body to the music and working together with our partner.

In PSHE you explored what it is like to take on a challenge and, on this occasion, the challenge was to stack as many different cups without the tower falling over. We then talked about what might be a challenge to us. This was lovely to hear, as overcoming challenges is something we do lots of in school. The examples were 'when mummy and daddy ask me to turn off the computer,' 'going near to dogs,' 'balancing on my scooter,' and 'swimming.'

Our moving pictures are looking great and I have really seen lots of perseverance this week. This was linked to cutting out the smaller pieces out and creating the dinosaur's moving parts. They are all nearly ready to be displayed in our study work books.

Next week we have our visit to look forward too One more week of Dinosaur adventures and I cannot wait!
