This week we have loved watching the We're going on a Bear Hunt story retold by Michael Rosen. He made us all smile. We have talked about our favourite animals and in phonics we have been singing Old Macdonald had a zoo...... This zoo is very special as it only has animals that start with the letter d.

Numeracy has been full of rhymes this week, rhymes to help us write our numbers 0-10. I hope you have fun on your number hunt at home. 'We're going on a number hunt. We're going to catch a big/small/straight/curved one.'

Remembrance Day was a lovely day for us to join together with the rest of the school to 'think about the soldiers.' Charley told us that we wear poppies to show we care. Our classroom has now got a lovely poppy arch with our own beautiful poppies.

As a class we have joined together with Pre School to practise the Nativity this week. What super singing voices we have! Some of us have speaking parts too and for those children, we will send home words to practise. Further details about clothes and costumes will be sent on an email this week.

Have a great weekend.

Miss Silvester
