Well done for another week of home learning. I am proud of each and every one of you (and your mums...

We hope you enjoy this new collection of reimagined images and verses from Julia Donaldson and Axel...
News from Reception
This week our butterflies have been released into our garden. We all gathered around to take a closer look at the butterflies before releasing them. We observed the symmetrical patterns and how they moved. We enjoyed describing what they looked like.
Miss Wood and Miss Addis have enjoyed getting to know the class in their Literacy and Numeracy lessons this week.
The story Bright Stanley has been a huge hit as it has promoted lots of ideas for writing. We enjoyed watching fish puppets swim while we read the story as a class. Miss Addis helped us to think about our favourite part of the story using pictures and clues from the text.
This week's Numeracy photos show how we have been developing our weighing skills. We used electronic scales and balance pans to weigh items to create shark food.
Our new growing garden has inspired us to get to know more about potatoes. We have developed our understanding of healthy foods and we had an exciting hand on session to explore various potatoes. We are looking forward to planting our seed potatoes this week.
In PE, you can now see us practising our jumping skills from different heights. We are thinking carefully how we can improve our skills to jump higher and have a steady landing.
This week has been a busy week for Mystery Readers too. Thank you to Amelie's Nana and Miss Wood for sharing two super stories with us.
