There has been a very productive atmosphere in the garden over the last week or so and the sun has been shining too! We were all inspired by the road working taking place alongside our garden. We transformed ourselves into road workers and road sweepers and I could tell you were taking your role very seriously by all the talk that was going on.

We are becoming number sentence experts! With the help of Numicon, we are beginning to write add number sentences. One highlight has been seeing how we can make fruit kebabs to write our own number sentences.

Our computing focus has continued this week. We are now looking at giving instructions to our class robot, known as our Beebot, and how we can use the keyboard to type our name.

In PE we have used our bodies in lots of different ways to express different emotions. It has been great to see you develop your movement skills.

During our Kiva afternoon, we talked about what makes a good friend. I heard all about your friendship crowns! We ended the week making our face and hair funny for Red Nose Day. All in all a super week in Reception.
