Wow what a busy but fantastic final week we have had before our Easter holidays. I am so proud of...
Netball Team
This half term has marked the beginning of the Wybunbury Delves Netball Team. So far this term we have competed in two league games and one competition.
So far in the league, we were unfortunate to have lost to a very talented Dingle Primary school team, who proved to be great hosts by providing us with juice and cookies after the game. Definitely worth the trip! In the next league game, we played Shavington Primary and I am so proud to say that we won 9-3. The team worked well together which was evident in the different combinations of play on the court- it was a delight to watch, well done team!
We also took part in a High 5 Netball competition at Shavington High school, where we worked hard to achieve 3rd place and were unlucky to pinch second. All members of the team showed great sportsmanship throughout the competition and should be very proud of what they have achieved, I know I am.
It's been a great start to the netball season so far and I cannot wait for it to resume after half term, where we will playing for 3rd place against Wistaston Primary school in the league. Bring it on!
