Nature Club
So far in Nature Club, we have been making animal shelters using our twig twisting skills, identifying British winter birds and making bird food to help them survive the long winter. We have been making dead wood piles creating homes for mosses and lichen to grow to encourage the variety of bugs to our environment. This week, we have cleared the pond area to help encourage and attract frogs, newts, pond skaters and dragonflies, as well as giving wildlife a place to drink and bathe. Click here to visit the RSPB site for activities and ideas you can do in your own gardens.
Have a look at our photos...can you identify the trees from the leaves we have found in our school garden?
