Minibeasts Preschool

Home » News » Untitled article

What a great day welcoming you back today!

We explored the room and guessed what we were learning. "About bugs" said Annabelle. "We are learning about minibeasts" Finn said.

We read our story The Very Hungry Caterpillar and talked about the life cycle of the butterfly — egg, caterpillar, cocoon then butterfly. We then created our own caterpillars, using scissors to cut out the circles, Annie said "mine is the longest" and it was!

During the afternoon we went on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds and found, a butterfly, bee, ant, ladybird and lots of worms!

It has also been lovely to share your minibeast creations from home too.

See you tomorrow,
Tara
