Maths Parent Workshop
For parents of Year 1, 2 and 3.
I have invited Kayleigh Matthias from First4Maths to run a Maths parent workshop. The workshop will give ideas of how you can support your child's Maths at home and highlight the new expectations of calculation within the new curriculum. It will be aimed at the end of Key Stage 1 expectations (Year 2) so is extremely relevant to year 1 and 2. Year 3 is about consolidation and building upon the strong foundations of KS1 so this workshop will be beneficial to Year 3 parents too.The workshop will take place on Tuesday 8th November at 6pm, it will last about a hour and a half.
I would urge parents to come and find out more about the Maths curriculum. This is a parent event rather than a child event.
Please complete the slip by Wednesday 19th October (Or email your reply to the office) — this will allow Kayleigh to plan effectively for the number of parents attending.
Many thanks
Mrs Chesters
