So...what a couple of weeks! This weeks news is last weeks and this weeks combined after technical...
In year 3 this week...
In year 3 this week, we have been busy learning how to divide in numeracy with some help from maths frog! In literacy, we have started work on non-fiction texts and learned more about life in Anglo-Saxon times. We have also learned skills of note-making and will use our notes to produce a non-fiction book page. We have completed some of our study work pages and our castles are looking more and more medieval!
Tomorrow, in PSHE, we will consider the ways in which we are unique and think about how difference should be celebrated and in French we will learn more about greetings, counting and may have time to learn a new song.
Plans for our Robin Hood celebration day are underway and I cannot wait to see the children dressed up and enjoying activities to complete our work on Robin of Sherwood. More news on this very soon....
Just a quick note about our Singing Playgrounds project: Unfortunately, there has been some delay in receiving our resources. We hope they will be in school soon and the children can then enjoy sharing their work and making ours a 'Singing Playground'.
