Happy New Year from Y6
Welcome back and a happy New Year to you. I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas with lots of family fun.It is lovely to see you and to hear about your Christmas break. Many thanks for all your Christmas wishes and gifts, they are very much appreciated.
Our term began with the third part of our class read — Exodus — Noospace. Mara has now ventured into the sky city of New Mungo in search of her missing friends. We will spend the first part of this term completing our book before moving on to our new text.
We have enjoyed our first two days back in school taking part in art activities, watching Treasure Island at the New Vic Theatre, and finally, finishing our day off by developing our gymnastic skills during PE.
Our studywork book covers are now complete and displayed around our classroom. They are a product of hard, focused and dedicated work and I am very proud of you all.
New homework has been set and should be completed by Friday 12th January 2018.
Have a lovely weekend.
