Geography Week

Home » News » Geography Week

We have celebrated our whole school approach to Geography in worship today. We enjoyed listening to the different perspective from our P4C lessons. This was inspired by our SPARK approach and Betty, the Head teacher from Kaiyaba, who has helped us to think about 'Our greatest possession is not money, it is our capacity to think.' This was showcased within our collective thinking and reasoning from a video stimulus.

We also awarded Geography certificates for individual achievements, ranging from using the correct Geographical vocabulary, contributing to our Geography week and being excellent map detectives. We listened carefully to Year 6 who shared all about the Geography field work skills that they had learnt during their visit to Carding Mill.

During playtimes we have enjoyed taking part in Singing Playgrounds. All our work this week will be shared with Kaiyaba Primary School.

Thank you for all your contributions.

Miss SIlvester
