French
Bonjour!
In our French lessons this week, Y5 and 6 have been working on introducing their families, learning the vocabulary for mother, father, brother, sister (step-brother... sister...father... mother) and identifying the use of la /ma (feminine) and le/mon (masculine) for 'the' and 'my'.
Both year groups are growing in confidence in speaking in French through role-playing conversations.

With Y6, we're also enjoying snippets of Spanish with Josephine's support. Tayla has asked if we can learn about pets, so that's something we'll be looking at during the term.
I've been really pleased with the enthusiasm from both classes. C'est fantastique!
