French in year 3 and 4
Just a quick update on our French lessons in year 3 and 4.
So far this term, we have learned ways to meet and greet and say our goodbyes. We have learned ways to introduce ourselves and ask and answer questions such as: What is your name? My name is.......How old are you? I am ... years old. Where do you live? I live in......
We have been learning how to count to 20 and beyond and now we have moved on to learning French colours.
Each week, we listen and repeat, have short conversations and count. This week we will play 'colour bingo'!
The children are very keen and take part in French lessons very well indeed. They are developing great French accents and work hard on pronunciation. It is a lovely way to end the week at school.
Bien fait les enfants!
