A Final Farewell To My Y6 Class

Home » News » A Final Farewell To My Y6 Class

What a final week we have had together in year 6.

We have completed and shared our study work books and what wonderful books they are. You always impress me with the standard you achieve and the dedication you show.

We have enjoyed sharing our photos with each other and spending one last time with our buddies in the reception garden. You will be in year 12 when they are in year 6!

Well done to Lucy for winning the talent show today and to Jessica and Laney for second place.

Thank you to Jessica and Bea for being fab bakers and providing us with some lovely afternoon treats. We thoroughly enjoyed them, including sweets from Laney.

Our Y6 Leaver Service was a moving tribute to the years you have spent at Wybunbury Delves. You shared your memories beautifully, singing and reciting precious moments with confidence and poise. I am so proud of you all. You touched the hearts of everyone and moved Mrs Casserley to tears.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you at your party tonight. You warm my heart and I will miss you all dearly. I would just like to say a huge thank you for all your kind words, thoughtful cards and personal gifts I have received. They moved me to tears just when I thought I was doing so well holding myself together. I feel very spoilt and will treasure every one of them.

I hope to see you on our yard sometime, be sure to come and say hi and keep me updated with your brilliance. Have a wonderful fun filled summer with plenty of giggles.

Your teacher
Mrs B
