It's not everyday you to get to explore the tropical waters of the Amazon Rainforest and find out about the aquatic inhabitants of Lake Malawi! But we did today! It was our school visit to the Blue Planet Aquarium and it was brilliant! As we explored the different exhibits, we saw fish and creatures we never expected to see — we were very excited! Along the way, we found out some 'fin'astic facts. Did you know there are 80 species of piranhas?

One of the highlights of the day had to be going through the aqua tunnel! Sting rays and numerous sharks swam above our heads and it was fascinating. We also enjoyed watching the divers feed the rays and fish. It was a great day and you were all brilliant Year 3!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I'll see you all again on Monday,

Miss P
