ESafety Talk for Parents of Y4 Y5 and Y6

Home » News » ESafety Talk for Parents of Y4-Y6

As you will be well aware, E-safety is very much in the news. As a parent myself, I want to help keep my children safe on-line and on their mobile phones but it can often seem a daunting task as new technologies like Instagram/Snapchat/imessage/Facetime come alongside Facebook, Twitter, MSN messenger/Bebo and gaming sites!
Whilst we do teach e-safety in school, the advice of an expert is always welcome. To this end, I have organised a Y5-6 e-safety talk with PC Amy Fletcher, a Police School Liaison Officer, who will be accompanied by PC NICK Jarvis, to talk through keeping safe on-line on Thursday 27th March in school time. They will be also be leading a similar session for parents of Y4-6 pupils and staff to give advice about keeping our children safe on-line. This will be on the SAME day AFTER SCHOOL from 3.30-4.30pm. Mrs Chesters and I will supervise children during the parent session, if childcare will prevent you being able to attend and you wish to do so.
Please email the office: office@wybunburydelves.co.uk to confirm you attendance.
I'm sure that it will be a very beneficial talk.
Kind regards, Mrs Cador
