English Assessment Workshop
On Monday 14th March there will be an English Assessment Meeting for parents at 6pm in our school hall.
As you are all very aware, since September 2014 all schools have been implementing a new National Curriculum. 2016 is the first time the new curriculum will be formally assessed at the end of key stages and there are many changes in how the children are assessed and the information parents will receive.
In order for you to hear the key information about Assessment in English (Reading and Writing), we have invited Judy Scorer and Jonathon Riley, leaders of the Cheshire East Moderation Team, to run a parents workshop.
The meeting will be beneficial to all parents of children in Years 1 to 6, not just the parents of children in Year 2 and Year 6 who will sit the End of Key Stage Assessments in 2016.
Please let the office know if you intend to attend this workshop.
Many thanks
