Christian Aid Week

Home » News » Ethos Council

This week our Church School Ethos ambassadors have hosted Christian Aid workshops across key stage 2 classes, linked to a project called Prayer Spaces in Schools, with the aim to help our children empathise with others whose lives are torn apart by war or environmental disaster; to appreciate the link between our own lifestyles and environmental refugees.

After a short presentation about how Christian Aid works with different organisations around the world on projects to bring communities peacefully together or provide clean drinking water, house building or equality to women, the children responded by writing thoughts or prayers linked to a range of activities.

Well done Ethos team for this huge undertaking, you did a magnificent job.
Mrs Taylor
