In these few days we have been very busy. In literacy we have started looking at fantasy fiction, using a short film called 'Eye of the storm'. We have asked our own questions, looked at the main character and setting. Through book club we have explored different question types and how one word can change the entire question's meaning; we have also written our own questions about a text and tried them out on our friends. In numeracy we have been concentrating on data handling; line graphs and range, mode, median and mean — a lot of terms to learn! We have also had an afternoon with sportscape moving onto tag rugby and handball; RE with Mrs Taylor; continued our Lowry inspired art and looked at plants in science.
