In Literacy we have continued to look at Viking Sagas. We have been reading Beowulf and acting out our own ending to the story, ready to start writing next week. Also, Mrs Griffin's lessons on Thursday and Friday will help us write an excellent Saga because we have learnt how to punctuate speech.

We have been stretching ourselves in Numeracy by learning a new method for division. It's been a little tricky but we all got their in the end and Mrs Griffin has been teaching us all about measurements.

In the afternoons we have been busy completing Study Book pages as the end of term beckons just beyond the horizon. We have also been making beautiful bags for our Study Work books to fit into; we would all like to say a very big thank you to all the helpers that came in because we couldn't of done it without you. Lastly, in R.E this week we have been exploring how Christians share their beliefs through art.

Our Music Lesson this week was great fun, we have learnt some new notes and have ticked off many of the criteria to achieve our 'Bronze' Certificate. However, to get our 'Bronze' Certificate we must also show that we have practiced our instrument at least 5 times a week for 5 minutes. You will find a 'Brass Instrument Practice Record' in the back of your Orange Homework Book. If you want to get your 'Bronze Certificate' please make sure you fill it in so Mr Eccles knows you've been practicing.
