In Year 2 we are enjoying listening to the sound of the rain. All the wet weather last week has helped us to explore our word choices. We are finding alternative words, and if you pop into our class you may see our children looking in the thesaurus in search of the best words. We are using these word choices to write super poetry.

In Numeracy we have had a wonderful selection of 3D shapes for homework. These 3D shapes have been great to describe and sort into different groups.

We are exploring nature through the work of William Morris. The signs of autumn have been inspiration for our print designs. We are planning to make our prints this week. If you would like to see a video to how to make your own wrapping paper for Christmas see the following link.
