Well...here it is! The half term break! And well-deserved Y5!
The children have been busy over the past week preparing to lead their House Worship as follow up to Interfaith Harmony Week. Their hard work was shared yesterday afternoon by all the children and teachers across school. Everyone commented on the way they had worked so well together to present the message that God's world is a gift on trust and there were some lovely comments including how nicely Tom W read aloud and how Izzy and Maddie's singing of The Lord's Prayer was so moving it brought a tear to a few teachers' eyes. Well done to all of you!
We completed the RSPB School's Bird Watch too yesterday. Thanks to the children's bird feeders there were lots of sightings in and around the pond area. Well done!
We've finished our work on fractions, decimals and percentages for now. Do keep practicing the key facts. Perhaps you can make yourself a Key Facts sheet over the break? I'd love to see it once we're back!
Well done Harry for being our Sportscape Star of the week!
One or two of you missed picking up the Learning Log sheet. I've attached it here for you.
Have a fantastic break and I look forward to hearing all about what you've been up to!
