It's the first week of our last half term together! I can't believe how quickly this year is going!
This week, we have been working extremely hard and we have covered lots of different areas.
In literacy, we have been looking at poetry. We did a performance of Clare Bevan's 'The Tudors' on Tuesday; everybody was very good! We then looked at kennings and wrote our own kennings poem based on 'Guess Who' by Carol Rumble and lastly we moved on to write our own Tudor limericks.
In Numeracy, we have been looking at area and perimeter and we had a revision sessions on co-ordinates.
Our afternoons have been just as busy as our mornings. We have been learning about the Mary Rose and sailing during the Tudor era. Some of us have finished our Tudor portraits and we have all started another Study Book page. We have even been doing French and coding as well.
On Thursday afternoon, we were very lucky because we were visited by people from the Iris Centre. They talked about what it was like to be blind and showed us the wonderful gadgets that have been invented to help them. They also told us how we can help. Can you remember any of they ways that we can help?
Have a lovely weekend and see you all on Monday.
