Reception - Percy the Park Keeper
We have had a lovely week in Reception this week. We have received two letters from Percy the Park Keeper, and have written back to him. We have also made maps and written clues for a treasure hunt.
In Maths we have been counting on using Numicon and number lines and have been finding out what these number sentences would look like.
Our butterflies have been released and we have planted out the beans and the sunflowers. We are hoping to get some strawberries and raspberries in over the next few weeks. If anyone would like to help us develop our garden please let us know.
PE is now on a Tuesday morning, we will be learning games skills this term and getting ready for sports day.
Learn along sessions — we will be holding four sessions over the coming weeks where you can come and spend a morning with us, learning alongside your child. We will be carrying on with our normal learning so that you can see how we are preparing for year 1. Please keep an eye out for the letter next week as sessions will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
