We have had a great week back in reception.
Thank you for the fantastic story boxes. The children have thoroughly enjoyed introducing them and using them to retell their stories.
In literacy we responded to a letter from Cinderella, asking for help building a new castle. The children have had a great time creating the castle, writing labels for the different parts and writing which is their favourite part.
In numeracy we had a visit from a giant who left his footprints all over the classroom! We measured our own footprints against the giants and then, using strips of paper, put our own feet in size order.
The children have also been painting autumn pictures, using leaves.
The parents and grandparents lunch was lovely. It was great to see so many of you here.
The new starters service was brilliant. Yet again, the children showed how confident they are, standing and singing, in front of an audience.
Have a great weekend and see you on Monday.
