Well there we have it! Another half term done and dusted...This week we've been bakers...
Where has this half term gone? This week we have asked the question 'why do we remember...
Our week has been full of celebrations linked to our reading this term. Wow, Year 1 we have made...
Reception - Igloo building in summer!
Wow, what another busy week we have had.
In Literacy, we have made captions for the display by our door and we have been writing space facts. In Phonics we have been learning the ure sound and continuing to practice reading and writing words with adjacent consonants.
In Numeracy, we have been counting lots of things in the garden, making numbers to 100 with Numicon and the milk cartons have helped us to count to 220. We have put the cartons into groups of ten and made a number line for them.
As you may have seen on your way into school the igloo construction has now begun, with the foundation layer stuck on Wednesday and another six rows stuck by Mrs Taylor and the children today.
We have had our sports day practices and are really looking forward to the real thing next week and we are looking forward to seeing you there.
Thank you to everyone who has shared our Learn along sessions, there has been really positive feedback from them. If there are any more forms still to return please send them in as soon as possible so that we can feedback to the parent forum.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine.
