Our Week In Year 4

Home » News » Our Week In Year 4

What a busy week it has been and I am so proud to say everybody has been working extremely hard!

In Literacy this week we finished the letter that Dumbledore wrote to Mr and Mrs Dursley on the night that Harry was dropped off at 4 Privet Drive. In their writing, the children worked extremely hard to include as many of their targets as they could and the end results are fabulous! I'm sure you will look forward to reading them! You will be able to read them on Monday evening because your child's Literacy Book will be sent home with them. This is because we want you to be able to look at your child's work and targets before Parents' Evening.

In Numeracy, we have carried on looking at decimals. We used decimals when comparing and estimating numbers this week; Numeracy books will be sent home on Tuesday.

Our afternoons have been just as exciting as the mornings! We continued with our Brass Instruments and we went swimming for the first time! The children looked like they were having great fun.

To recap, Literacy and Numeracy books will be coming home next week. If you can, please take the time to have a look at them. However, do make sure they are returned the next day as it is vital that we have them for the next day's lessons.
