Our Week in Year 2
We have enjoyed looking back at Leon and the Place Between this week to focus on Leon as a character. We have used pictures to help think about Leon's appearance, personality and how he treats other characters and animals. This has helped us to structure our writing to start with an opening paragraph. Emme wrote, 'Leon is a strong believer in magic. He is a nice and kind friend.'
In Numeracy we have been partitioning number in different ways. Missing number number sentences have helped to challenge our learning further.
Our photos this week are related to our control work in ICT. The beebot robot has been busy exploring our classroom and the IPads have been a wonderful addition to help practise our skills further.
On Thursday, we welcomed other classes into our classroom to see our fairground rides. They were very interested to talk about how we have made our rides. It was lovely to see our class share their rides with some of their brothers and sisters.
In RE we have enjoyed reading different versions of the Bible and we have had opportunities to find our favourite stories.
Have a lovely half term holiday.
