Jambo from kaiyaba
We have finally been to Kaiyaba and met up with our wonderful friends! They send you lots of hellos and their smiling faces!
We have walked from the school like the children and teachers to visit Salome (teacher) and ate a delicious meal with her and her family, Betty and Veronicah!
Jacques has found a squashed chameleon on the road which is fascinating!
We have had to delay visiting the farm and hope to visit on friday.
We have taught a P4C session this afternoon in a classroom that they have built dedicated to our partnership! The room is full of photos, children's work and letters. we enjoyed reading the letters written by Y5 when they were Y2!!
We have delivered the Rotary laptops and the school is delighted. They loved the class newsletters and there are plans to have electricity in the school by December so they'll be able to reply quickly.
